And now a word from the artist:
The name of the set is TreeSpeake. Something about the space between where magic happens, calls out from the set for me personally. I did it one night instead of what I should have been doing for work and I enjoyed making it a lot. Probably because I have been neglecting my own artistic stuff in favor of graphics for the practical side of building business web sites, which though they are rewarding do not come as directly from my magical intent. The set are all jpgs and the center one is 9,147 bytes the two smaller are 4,323 and 4,367 bytes respectively. Oh I built them in Photoshop on a MAC.
The font is PoorRichard. It needed the sharp cutting quality with a little funk for the flavor I was trying to capture.
A contest was held for the Pagan Graphics WebRing
and the winning logo is displayed above.

The graphics displayed below are all of the images that were entered in the contest.

And now a word from the artist:
It's called "terns" (for lack of a better name)
I was designing a graphic for my fiance's webpage... his nickname is Moon. It was the last night of the logo contest and I had failed miserably weeks earlier at coming up with a passable entry. In the middle of the graphic, I realized that it might work for the contest.... and it was about 2 hours til deadline. I was scrambling until the very last minute. Had the deadline been extended... I probably would have tweaked it until it was completely unusable!
I use Paint Shop Pro 4, and two different graphics. One was an old cut of a pair of terns which I darkened until they made a good shadow, and the tree was a photo from a very old book on trees. Used a lot of cut & 'paste as transparent' techniques. The font is called Cheshire.

Summer Storm by Cy
This graphic was designed for the Pagan Graphics WebRing by Cy, http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/3902/

And now a word from the artist:
Created on a PC also using Photoshop4, With filters, Font Toronto ( true type Font )
I started by hand painting my image ( Its actually painted from memory from a recent fishing trip ..a storm was moving in and the water was so blue green with the trees reflected in the water,,,the memory of that spot along the coast haunts me even now ..it was so beautiful. I went home and started painting ..laying in the blues and greens for water and for the sky I used a photoshop cloud effect. I added the lense Flare and mirror effects and played with the lighting until I recreated what I had seen that day. Most of My art comes from things Ive seen and comes straight from my heart. The original paintings can be found at my gallery. http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/3902/new.htm

Ancient Fire by Cy
This set of graphics was designed for the Pagan Graphics WebRing by Cy, http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/3902/

And now a word from the artist:
Working on a PC I Created this graphic image in Photoshop4 using Various Filters ( Kai power tools, Eyecandy, and Flux) It began with hand painting with a Lens Flare added then used a seamless welder on it ( Kai) to get the right lighting effects..then used a flux mirror on the image and to frame it I used a Glass bevel. The Font is Morpheus and I have zip file of this True Type Font if anyone would like it. I was in one of my trance like moods ( headphones glued to my head with a good CD on ) when I created these Images. Art to me is the highest form of meditation. 2 versions of the original graphic I created can be found in my Gallery titled Ancient Fire and Mystery at http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/3902/new.htm

The First Pagan Artist by Hairfish
This set of graphics was designed for the Pagan Graphics WebRing by Hairfish (Hairfish Graphics), http://home.earthlink.net/~hairfish

And now a word from the artist:
I wanted to convey the idea of the Goddess as an artist creating the World, so I had her tossing confetti (pixels) into space. The larger, original work looked much more "sparkly," but when I shrank it down to stay within a quick-loading file-size, it lost some of its detail. Now that I have a larger monitor, I hope to be able to work on smaller originals...
The "goddess" image is scanned from a small hand-painted watercolor, which I painted from a picture of a sculpture in an art magazine. The "globe" is from a CD photo collection from Expert. I used Adobe Photoshop 4.0 to put it all together and do the text, but had to turn to Photoshop 3.0 to use the Alien Skin Black Box's "Swirl" feature to make the spotted frames (my Black Box doesn't work in Photoshop 4).

Petroglyphs by Parker
This graphic was designed for the Pagan Graphics WebRing by Parker, http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Museum/5596/

And now a word from the artist:
I work on a PC using Corel Photo-Paint 8, which at that time I had owned for a little over a week. (I'm still learning how to use it!)
I have no idea how I created this }:-(
The title font is Funk, my daughter Robin and I found it one day font-surfing... the Wand is from Woolbats by Curtis Clark. The frog and bull are also from Woolbats. The eye is from Meroitic-Hieroglyphics. My goal was to create the feeling of a cave drawing with the colors, joy and magick of the modern pagan. I'm still trying to recreate the effects I achieved on the crytal tips.... teaches me to keep better notes. LOL

And now a word from the artist:
The images represent the ancient Mediterraeanean Civilization of the Goddess: the tripple goddess as Mother, Maiden, Crone; and the horned god as represented within the Great Bull God of Crete which represented Dionysus as indestructible life.
